About the Program
Communications practitioners in the U.S. Navy have the same objectives as in other public and corporate entities—to uphold their employer’s reputation, keep its stakeholders informed and further its efforts to be a responsible member of the community.

But, Navy public affairs professionals also have a different set of challenges than the rest of us.  While they support the Navy in times of peace, they must support the Navy in its ongoing efforts to be ready for war.

Please join IABC First Coast at this very special presentation at the Naval Air Station Jacksonville for an insider’s look at communications for a key government agency and an opportunity to apply best practices from the public sector to your industry.

Base Tour (Optional)
The program will include an optional tour of the base.  You will experience a unique behind-the-scenes look at the new aircraft control tower, blacked-out radar room, P3 aircraft, as well as base helicopters and the pilots who fly them.  This tour has limited seating, so be sure to sign up early!
